It started as a regular ol' Snow White picture...then it became a biomechanical-fairy tale mash-up.

Made a blanket

A new blanket I made for myself to replace my old one of 13 years, which is getting to be beyond repair. I only poked myself with a pin once so that alone was an accomplishment. Definitely a one-time project.

Even monsters have to go away at some point! Again, experimenting with contrast (might have made it a bit darker in this version than the original.

"The Subtle Manifestation of Ego" - Pencils
Playing around with a little bit of surrealism, I felt a little inspired by HR Giger (though no biomechanics in this piece), showing what I think the manifestation of ego would look like. I might do a series, with her head progressively getting larger in each one.

Commission

This was a commission from a friend, she asked for a turtle bookmark and a girl with a dragon. I gave the turtle a friend because he just looked too lonely by himself.

The black and white and red version, she asked for it originally in black and white with red, it was easier to do it in color first then switch it over to black and white with the red.
